dr hab. inż. Wojciech Cieślik

Wojciech Cieślik, PhD, DSc, Eng., is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Powertrains and Aviation. For many years, his research has focused on alternative propulsion systems used in various modes of transport, including marine vessels. He is the academic supervisor of the PUT Powertrain Interfaculty Student Research Group, which he inspired to design and build a racing boat for international competitions held in Monaco, Sardinia, the Netherlands and other countries hosting events in the Solar Boat Challenge series. He also works as a tutor at Poznan University of Technology, supporting students’ academic and personal development. Committed to advancing the marine industry, he regularly publishes articles in the Yacht Technology Bulletin and serves as its Technical Editor. He is also a member of the National Qualifications Team responsible for the vocational qualifications TWO.02 – Assembly of Yacht and Boat Structures and Equipment, and TWO.12 – Organisation of Yacht and Boat Construction, Repair and Modernisation. In his spare time, he builds wooden motorboats inspired by classic Italian vessels.

Adrian Skubis is a public relations expert and journalist. For the past ten years, he has served as Communications Adviser to the Management Board of the Polish Powerboating and Water Ski Association. He is also associated with the WTS Sparta Wrocław speedway club, where he is responsible for media relations and external communications. He serves as Press Officer during the Wrocław rounds of the Speedway World Championship, held as part of the Speedway Grand Prix series, and as Editor-in-Chief of KILWATER, the official magazine of the Polish Powerboating and Water Ski Association. At the Polish Olympic Committee, he is Vice-Chairman of the Non-Olympic Sports Commission. Between 1998 and 2007, he worked in the sports departments of TV4, Polsat, Polsat Sport and Eurosport as a producer of news programmes and sports magazines, as well as a commentator on Formula 1, Champ Car, A1 Grand Prix, GP2, Supersport, Superstock and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. From 2007 to 2013, he served as Communications Director and Press Officer of Ekstraklasa S.A. Privately, he is a devoted Liverpool FC supporter, a fan of extreme sports and motorsport, and an enthusiast of Eastern martial arts and new technologies.

His objective is to implement proven and technologically innovative solutions in related markets.

Katarzyna Panasiuk, PhD, Eng., is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Gdynia Maritime University. She earned her PhD in 2019, specialising in the recycling of composite materials. Her research focuses on the strength and deformation of composite materials using non-destructive testing methods. She also has professional experience as a composite materials technologist in the yacht-building industry, particularly in the design and implementation of infusion systems used in structural manufacturing and in composite structure repair methods. Since the beginning of the #RoadToMonaco initiative, she has supported the solar boat project, contributing to scientific cooperation between Poznan University of Technology and Gdynia Maritime University. She also introduced members of the Student Research Group to the fundamentals of laminated boat construction, including hand lay-up and vacuum infusion techniques.

She combines consulting experience with scientific and technical expertise, helping clients design and implement solutions that address the challenges of economic and climate transformation. She is an expert in sustainability, electromobility, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels. She has many years of experience in projects related to decarbonisation, energy transition and environmental efficiency. She is the author and co-author of scientific publications in the fields of environmental protection, transport and electromobility, as well as the founder of the Electromobility Forum Foundation. She specialises in combining business, technological and regulatory perspectives, helping organisations effectively implement ESG initiatives and build credible communication around sustainable development.
